Hi There! I wanted to make a post about this can organizer that I recently finished making. I chose to make this because it is really great for keeping cans out of our cupboards, where they take up quite a bit of space and it can be hard to see how many there are left of something. I made this from a plan created by Ana White. She has a lot of great, free woodworking plans and is someone from my recommendations page.
So here are a few pictures and below is a bit about me and where I am at in my life right now.

Recently I left my job. It wasn’t an easy decision, but there were things there that made me very uncomfortable and it wasn’t worth it. I am lucky to have a partner that is very supportive of me and that we have savings, so I am taking some time off before starting another job to get into the projects I have been wanting to do. There are things that I’ve been wanting to explore more because I suspect that I would really enjoy them, but between work and some classes I haven’t had a lot of time to put much into them. This time has been great, and I have been really enjoying the woodworking, sewing, baking, etc… that I have been playing with.

At some point, Damian and I are hoping to create our own homestead. And right now I believe that I would love to also be creating and selling furniture while we do that. We expect this to be a ways away at this point, so for now I am hoping to get into a job that supports my interests and helps me learn more about them and grow into them more. For now, I will keep exploring on my own and sharing with you! And I plan on making some of my own plans at some point, so these posts will be more interesting then.
